OK, so I’m all happy because I created my first audio file, with Audacity, and exported it to an mp3 file. Ready? Upload it… wait… what’s taking so long? Error message: “this file is too large. You are limited to 1000KB.” Check the size of my audio: 5.3 MB!?!?!?
Anyone know how to slim this down?
Thanks, EFL Geek. Worked. Now I need some cool-lookin play/pause/stop gifs to add to the page. WordPress doesn’t seem to offer anything except a plain text link to the audio. Any suggestions, anyone?
when you export to mp3 change your bit rate to a lower number. With voice 24 should be fine.
